The Internal Regulation is a set of provisions that regulate and deepen the relevant aspects of health care, emphasizing the obligations and duties that patients, their families and visitors must fulfill.

Thus, this Internal Regulation complements the rights established in favor of users by Law, facilitating the construction and strengthening of a patient-health team relationship based on the Nunez Health Service Mission. We invite our users to know it in detail.

Duties and rights of the patient

DO YOUR DUTIES

1- Deliver truthful information about your medical history, lifestyle, illness, adverse effects caused by certain medications, identity and address..

2- Know and comply with the regulations and / or internal protocols, the technical regulations in Health of general observance, as well as with the specific ones that determine said services, when they are making use of the benefits they provide.

3- Comply with the general prescriptions for the care and improvement of your health. Take responsibility for the consequences if you refuse to do so..

4- Take care and make good use of the facilities and equipment of the center.

5- Find out about your doctor´s name and specialized care hours.

6- Be informed about the costs that will be generated as a result of the care, as well as being responsible for the payment of the expenses generated during your care.

7- Learn about the process of channeling suggestions and complaints.

8- Respectfully treat health service personnel, such as patients, users and / or companions.

RIGHT TO ACCESS HEALTH SERVICES

1- To emergency care, without conditioning to the presentation of any document.

2- At the doctor´s free choice.

3- To receive care with freedom of clinical judgment.

4- To a second medical opinion.

5- Access to adequate and necessary services, medicines and health products.

RIGHT TO ACCESS TO INFORMATION

1- To be adequately and timely informed of their rights as a user.

2- To know the name of the doctor responsible for your care, as well as the professionals in charge of the procedures.

3- To receive necessary and sufficient information on the conditions for the use of health services, prior to receiving care.

4- To receive necessary and sufficient information about your transfer inside or outside the center; as well as grant or deny your consent, unless justified by the representative of the center.

5- To receive from the center necessary and sufficient information on the rules, regulations and / or administrative conditions linked to their attention.

6- To receive from your treating physician and in understandable terms, complete, timely and continuous information about your own disease and about treatment alternatives.

7- To decide your voluntary withdrawal from the center, expressing this decision to your attending physician.

8- To refuse to receive or continue treatment. (Under its responsibility).

9- Rights to be informed about the experimental condition of products or procedures, as well as their risks and side effects.

RIGHT TO HEALTH CARE AND RECOVERY

Right to health care and recovery

1- To be attended by health personnel authorized by current regulations.

2- To be treated with full respect for your dignity and privacy, good treatment and without discrimination.

3- To receive scientifically proven treatments or with adverse reactions and side effects noted.

4- To your personal safety, unless disturbed exposed to danger by persons outside the center.

5- To authorize the presence of third parties in the medical examination or surgery, prior agreement of the attending physician.

6- Respecting the natural process of his death, as a result of the terminal state of the disease.

RIGHT TO INFORMED WRITTEN CONSENT

1- In the case of risky tests, surgical interventions, surgical contraception or procedures that may affect its integrity, except in case of emergency.
